The bright weather appeared to reflect in the general attitude to the market for superyachting.
Many recruiters were making positive noises about their business for 2011 so far many crew we
met had recently found work and, although there are plenty of job hunters looking for positions
of all levels, the general mood of the show – and Antibes as a yachting hub itself – was encouraging
compared to recent years.

With an Adriatic coastline that makes a saw blade look smooth, Croatia was a popular European cruising
area until war ripped the country apart through the early '90s. Now peaceful, this is prime charter territory. Regulations governing charters are intricate, however, so rely on a good yacht agent to sort out the details.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful point to start or end your charter, but the more than one thousand islands are all
gorgeous. Hvar is medieval, Trogir is winding alleys and courtyards, and the Kornati National Park has

führer der istrischen Küstenstädte- Pula, Poreč und Novigrad- gab es schon 1845, und darin
nannte der Historiker Pietro Kandler den Reisenden- Gästen, lokale Schenswürdigkeiten und
Besuchenswertes. Auf der anderen Seite der istrischen Halbinsel jedoch wurde in Opatija, ein
Jahr zuvor die Villa Angiolina, die erste Unterkunft für den Tourismus an der zukünftigen Riviera
der österreichisch-ungarischen Monarchie errichtet.

I principali impianti turistici dell´Istria, gli alberghi e gli appartamenti, nella maggior
