Position: 45°05,0´N - 13°38´4E

Meteorological characteristics: North port is well protected, except from W and NW winds.
South port is well protected, except from W and SW winds.

Tides: from  0,5 till 0,7meters, with strong winds can rise to 1 meter. In North port strong NW and W winds can cause floating of the quay.

Pilot: compulsory from 500 GT. Available  24 hours on daily basis. Calling VHF ch. 16 (working VHF ch. 12).

Towage: 1/1226 kW from Shipyard "Uljanik". Additional tugs available from Rijeka on advance notice.

Warning: Sailing from the S take a sharp lookout on the shallow water „Muntrav“ (8,8m), situated W from cape Muntrav, and shallow water „St. Katarina“(6,6m) situated W from the Island Katarina. Sailing to the N port Sharp lookout on the shallow reef „Muća“ (7,8m) and „Škver“ (10,1m) on the breakwater of Bay „Pod Bolnicu“.
On 45°04,4´N - 13°30,9´E there is a metereological buoy with radar reflector and flashing yellow light - Prohibited navigation in radius of 500 meters.

Anchorage: Anchorage area for big ship´s is in the Bay „Pod Bolnicu“ 300 meters N from church tower of St. Euphemia on depht of 22 meters. Smaller ship´s can drop the anchor E from that point. During the NE wind is recommended for smaller ship´s to drop the anchor on the breakwater in the S port.

Berth:  In the North port there is 200 meters of piers with  depth of 6 meters. In the South port can dock ship´s with lenght up to 60 meters and 5,5 meters of draught.

Supply: Fresh water, fresh provisions, cigarets and spirits duty free ..

Authorities: Harbour master office, police, customs, imigrations,  permanent international marine border, post office, medical centre, farmacy..

Bunkers: Limited quantities available by truck
