Port of Porec
Position: 45°13,6´N - 13°35,8´E
Meteorological characteristics: port is well protected, except from S and NW winds which may cause waves in the port.
Tides: from 0,5 till 0,7 meters.
Pilot: compulsory from 500 GT. Available 24 hours on daily basis. Calling VHF ch. 16 (working VHF ch. 12).
Towage: 1/1226 kW from Shipyard "Uljanik". Additional tugs available from Rijeka on advance notice.
Warning: Sailing from N keep sharp lookout on shallow water „Meja“ situated 1 NM North from light on cliff Barbaran. Shallow water „Pical“ (2,4m) along the coast, situated 0,5NM
SE from shallow water „Meja“.
Anchorage: Anchorage area is W and NW from cliff Barbaran on depth of 22 meters.
Berth: Quay in NW part of the Harbour is long 85 meters with depth of 5 meters, central quay which is 63 meters long on depth of 4 meters.
Supply: Fresh water, fresh provisions, cigarets and spirits duty free ..
Authorities: Harbour master office, police, customs, imigrations, permanent international marine border, post office, medical centre, farmacy..
Bunkers: Limited quantities available by truck
