National park BRIJUNI is a cluster of 14 islands near Pula. The largest and the most visited island is Veliki Brijun. The island is worth visiting for ist favorable climate, lush vegetation and rich animal life, as well cultural-historic heritage. The guided excursion includes: a ride by tourist train, visit to the remains of the Roman villa rustica from the 1. Century B.C., safari park with Somali sheeps, zebus, zebras, dromedarys, llamas, two elephants Sonyn and Lanka and other animals, visit to the Church of St. Germain with permanent exibition of copies of frescoer and Glagolitic writings from Istra, monument to dr. Robert Koch, two exibitions and much more.
